The PC Financial World Elite Mastercard earns PC Optimum points — redeemable at Loblaw, Shoppers Drug Mart, Joe Fresh, and PC Travel. With no annual fee and a strong earn rate at Loblaw stores, it's a standout for Canadians who shop in the Loblaw family.

Earn Rates

Earn 45 PC Optimum points per dollar at Loblaws, Provigo, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore, Shoppers Drug Mart, and PC Express. 30 points per dollar at Esso and Mobil. 10 points per dollar everywhere else. PC Optimum points are worth $0.001 each (10,000 points = $10), making the Loblaw earn rate effectively 4.5% back — excellent for a no-fee card at a specific retailer.

PC Optimum stacking

Use your PC World Elite at Shoppers Drug Mart on Bonus Redemption Days (typically first Saturday of the month, 20x multiplier events) and you can effectively earn 6–8% back on drugstore purchases. Stack with PC Optimum app offers for up to 15% back on select items.

The Catch: Income Requirement

The PC Financial World Elite requires a minimum personal income of $80,000 or household income of $150,000. Those who don't qualify can apply for the PC Financial Mastercard (no income requirement, 25 points per dollar at Loblaw stores). For non-Loblaw shoppers, the Tangerine Money-Back (2% on groceries) or Rogers Red (1.5% everywhere) may offer better overall value.
